Cochin – Athirappilly – Munnar – Thekkady – Alleppey(Houseboat) – Kovalam - (Kanyakumari day trip) - Trivandrum
Day 1 Cochin - Athirappilly

On arrival at Cochin international Airport/ Railway station, our executive will welcome you and assist your transfer to Athirappilly. Athirappilly is famous for its 42 meter high waterfalls. Athirappilly, lying at an average elevation of 300 meters above sea level, consists of 14850 hectares of tropical wet, evergreen and moist deciduous riparian forest ranges. Check into your resort and in the afternoon visit the falls and also the Charpa and Vazhachal falls. Overnight stay at Athirappilly.

Day 2 Athirappilly-Cochin

After breakfast check out of your hotel at 11 am and drive towards Cochin to explore this beautiful and historical city. Check into your Cochin hotel and after lunch visit the historical Fort Cochin which has a rich heritage and strong historical relationship with the British, Portuguese, Dutch, Arabs, and Chinese etc. You can also visit the Dutch Palace, Asia's best preserved Synagogue and the Chinese fishing nets. Overnights stay at Cochin.

Day 3 Cochin - Munnar

Today morning, after breakfast, drive to Munnar by road (130 Kms). Munnar is a picturesque hill station situated in the eastern part of Kerala; lush green-carpeted tea and coffee plantations surround it. The beautiful landscapes, cozy weather, and the smell of tea leaves make Munnar one of the most sought-after destinations in South India. Check in to your hotel by noon. In the evening walk around Munnar town at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 4 Munnar

Today after breakfast, visit the Mattupetty Dam. Mattupetty has an artificial lake built by a small hydroelectric project. Proceed to Kundala Lake - a natural lake with recreational facilities like boating and having an excellent view of the Western Ghats as well as the surrounding forests. Also visit Echo point and tea plantations. In the afternoon you can visit Eravikulam National park, where the endangered Nilgiri Tahr is conserved. Later drive back to your resort for an overnight stay.

Day 5 Munnar - Thekkady

Today after breakfast check out of your hotel and drive towards Thekkady, the Wildlife destination of Kerala. It is also known as the spice bag of the state. You can enjoy a beautiful journey through the hills and valleys of the Western Ghats to reach this jungle destination. Check into your hotel and later go for an optional Kathakali show, Spice plantation visit, elephant ride or an Ayurvedic massage treatment. Also have an amazing boat ride in Periyar Lake which flows through the Periyar tiger reserve. You will have chance to watch the wild animals like elephant, bison, Sambar deer etc who roam on both shores. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 6 Thekkady - Alleppey(Houseboat)

After breakfast check out of your resort and drive to Alleppey. Alleppey is known as the Venice of the East has a largest network of Canals and is a centre for backwater cruises in Kerala. A large number of tourists are attracted to this district because of its boat races. By 12 pm you can board your houseboat. Cruise around backwater villages of Alleppey. The cozy double bedroom, the sit - out, the sundeck, the well stocked kitchen and the modern toilets give the guests a feeling of being at home in the lovely waters. One can move through small narrow canals, lakes & lagoons see traditional fishing, farming below sea level etc., which will help you to catch a brief memorable picture of Kerala backwaters. Enjoy the ride; delicious cuisines and an overnight stay onboard your luxury houseboat.

Day 7 Alleppey - Kovalam

After breakfast, check out of the houseboat and drive to your beach resort at Kovalam; the international beach destination of Kerala with shallow water for swimming and perfect for other water sport activities. On the way, you can visit the iconic spots in the Old Travancore Kingdom's capital Trivandrum which include the Napier Museum, Sri Chithira Art Gallery, Zoo, Padmanabhapuram Temple etc., Check into your beach resort and enjoy the beach till you see the sun set in the Arabian Sea. Overnight stay at Kovalam

Day 8 Kovalam - Kanyakumari(day trip)

After breakfast, you will have a day trip to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of Indian sub continent. It lies at the meeting point of three bodies of water: the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean. It is a holy place for Hindu Pilgrims too. On the way to Kanyakumari, you can visit the Padmanabhapuram Palace. After lunch, visit the famous Vivekananda rock which is situated in the sea and the huge statue of Thiruvalluvar on the rock. By 4 pm head back to your resort at Kovalam and enjoy the beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 9 Kovalam - Trivandrum Drop off

Till noon, be at leisure in your beach resort and later check out for your return drop off to Trivandrum Airport/ railway station for your onward journey.
