On arrival at Cochin international Airport/ Railway station, our executive will welcome you and assist your transfer to your hotel at Cochin. After lunch, visit the historical Fort Cochin which has a rich heritage and strong historical relationship with the British, Portuguese, Dutch, Arabs, and Chinese etc. You can also visit the Dutch Palace, Asia's best preserved Synagogue and the Chinese fishing nets. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Munnar. Munnar is a picturesque hill station situated in the eastern part of Kerala; lush green-carpeted tea and coffee plantations surround it. The beautiful landscapes, cozy weather, and the smell of tea leaves make Munnar one of the most sought-after destinations in South India. Check in to your hotel by noon. In the evening walk around Munnar town at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Today after breakfast, visit the Mattupetty Dam. Mattupetty has an artificial lake built by a small hydroelectric project. Proceed to Kundala Lake - a natural lake with recreational facilities like boating and having an excellent view of the Western Ghats as well as the surrounding forests. Also visit Echo point and tea plantations. In the afternoon you can visit Eravikulam National park, where the endangered Nilgiri Tahr is conserved. Later drive back to your resort for an overnight stay.
Today after breakfast check out of your hotel and drive towards Thekkady, the Wildlife destination of Kerala. It is also known as the spice bag of the state. You can enjoy a beautiful journey through the hills and valleys of the Western Ghats to reach this jungle destination. Check into your hotel and later go for an optional Kathakali show, Spice plantation visit, elephant ride or an Ayurvedic massage treatment. Also have an amazing boat ride in Periyar Lake which flows through the Periyar tiger reserve. You will have chance to watch the wild animals like elephant, bison, Sambar deer etc who roam on both shores. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Before noon, check out of your resort and drive to Alleppey also known as the Venice of the East due to its special geographical features. Alleppey is also famous for its vast back water stretches and paddy fields. By 3 pm you can reach Alleppey, check into your resort and later go on to visit Alleppey Beach and the light house. Overnight stay at Alleppey.
By 11 am check out your resort and board your houseboat from the nearest Jetty. Cruise around backwater villages of Alleppey. After having your breakfast, check out the houseboat and drive to your beach resort at Kovalam, the international beach destination of Kerala with shallow water for swimming and other water sports activities. Three curve shaped beaches, alienated by stony outcroppings, form the major attraction of this coastal resort. After lunch, enjoy the beach till the sun sets in the Arabian Sea. Overnight stay at the resort.
Today after breakfast you will have a half day city tour to visit the iconic spots of the Old Travancore Kingdom's capital, Trivandrum which include Napier Museum, Sri Chithira Art Gallery, Zoo, Padmanabhapuram Temple and adjacent Palace etc. Later drive back to your resort and enjoy the beach. Overnight stay at the resort.
Till noon, be at leisure in your beach resort and later check out for your return drop off to Trivandrum Airport/ railway station for your onward journey.
